Water Heater

Our water heater has been on it’s way out for awhile. It has been leaking and putting out the pilot, then we would find that there is no hot water. So it was time for a replacement. The plumber wasn’t able to come replace it before we went to Idaho, so we made sure to turn it off and drain it so we wouldn’t come home to find a big wet mess in the basement. We looked into tankless water heaters, but in the end we decided to just go with another tank for now, but we did upgrade from a 40 gallon tank to a 50 gallon tank. 🙂

Cousin Amelia’s Baby Blessing

Saturday we loaded up and took Seth on his first road trip!

It was just a short one though, from our home to Ammon, Idaho to visit Wendy and John and to meet cousin Amelia. Grandma was just in heaven soaking up baby loves. I’m sad that Debby and her family weren’t able to come, or there might have been three babies on Grandma.

Before we went to bed Saturday night, John taught the kids how to play dominos.

This morning we got up and got ready for church for Amelia’s baby blessing. I didn’t take my camera to church, so I took pictures after we got back to the house and after things calmed down a bit.

Since Grandpa and Grandma, Tiffany and her family, and our family were all planning on leaving Monday morning, and John had work Monday morning, we decided to all meet at Ihop for breakfast before we split. Surprisingly most of the kids ate ALL of their food. Then it was time to head home. We were home in the afternoon, and Grandpa and Grandma stopped off to drop off a few things with us, then it was time to rest from driving so we can get back to normal for tomorrow.
