{"id":196,"date":"2013-09-24T20:36:52","date_gmt":"2013-09-25T03:36:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.klamation.com\/cookbook\/?p=196"},"modified":"2013-09-24T20:38:52","modified_gmt":"2013-09-25T03:38:52","slug":"frosted-pumpkin-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.klamation.com\/cookbook\/frosted-pumpkin-cookies\/","title":{"rendered":"Frosted Pumpkin Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.klamation.com\/pictures\/food\/DSCF4928.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ZenphotoPress_thumb \" title=\"DSCF4928\" alt=\"DSCF4928\" src=\"http:\/\/www.klamation.com\/pictures\/zp-core\/i.php?a=food&amp;i=DSCF4928.JPG\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 c butter<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 c sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klamation.com\/cookbook\/baking-pumpkin\/\" target=\"_blank\">pumpkin puree<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp ground nutmeg<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>2 1\/2 c all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350; line cookie sheets with parchment paper.<\/p>\n<p>Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until well blended; add pumpkin, egg and vanilla extract and beat until smooth. Gradually add the dry ingredients. Drop by rounded table spoon onto prepared cookie sheets.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are firm. Cool for 2 minutes before moving cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
